CHIEF LAKE, WI — In a dominant display of defensive discipline and relentless transition play, Lac Courte Oreilles (LCO) powered past Lac du Flambeau for a decisive 70–29 win.
From the opening tip, LCO dictated the pace of the game, using full-court pressure to disrupt Lac du Flambeau’s offense and generate early, easy buckets on the break.
Controlled from Start to Finish
LCO established control early, building a comfortable lead in the opening half by locking down the paint and forcing contested jumpers. Lac du Flambeau struggled to string together productive possessions against LCO's swarming perimeter defense, which converted turnovers directly into high-percentage scoring opportunities.
